I am originally from Oklahoma.  I have a BIG family…..two sons, a “bonus” son and daughter-in-law, a “bonus” daughter and son-in-law, two “bonus” daughters, and last but not least, 2 “bonus” grandsons! 

I am an animal lover. I have 3 cats, a dog, and even 4 goats that are my pets!  I love to tell funny stories about all of them!

About me professionally…

  I graduated with a degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of North Texas. I began my teaching career in Dallas Public Schools working with children with multiple disabilities.  When we moved to Indiana, I was able to work with preschool children at Village Nursery School in West Lafayette.  I continued my career by teaching for GLASS at Linwood.  This is my 9th year at Glen Acres where I have taught both 1st and 2nd grade!
